This project aims to build the capacities and skills of a team of 6 young women ( Ireland, The Netherlands- Spain - UK) from FGM-affected diaspora communities to develop their own podcast dedicated to ending FGM. ​​ Launching 11 October 2024. The Purple Chair podcast project will first aim to amplify and empower youth voices from affected communities against FGM and diversify the kind of youth activists we see taking the stage in Europe. This objective is directly linked to the promotion of youth social entrepreneurship and the increasing use of digital tools among young activists engaged in ending FGM.
