#23 What Animals Can Teach Us
What is empathic communication? How can we become more in-tune with our animals and what can they teach us? Catherine is joined by an animal empath and communicator, Emelie Cajsdotter, to find out more... Key Moments:[00:00:00] - Introduction[00:03:39] - Meet my guest[00:07:26] - What is empathic communication?[00:18:40] - Finding a place in the world for humans[00:25:27] - Common messages and issues in dogs[00:28:22] - Common messages and issues in horses[00:37:55] - Asking vs. telling[00:43:16] - Horses and setting reasonable boundaries[00:46:42] - Advice on re-evaluating your relationships[00:55:33] - Coping at the end of life [01:03:27] - Help Emelie save the sanctuary [01:09:39] - Final thoughts Key Takeaways:Animals often “shut down” when dominated by humans. Animals have an innate instinct of how to get nutrition and live their lives to their fullest, and we humans have a lot to learn from them.A hierarchical structure where humans are on top is not the best way to maintain a positive and balanced relationship with animals. Worrying about how our animals (for example, dogs) feel because of something we may be lacking to provide them with can get in the way of our relationship with them. Many dogs can be overstimulated because we worry that we are not doing enough for them. It’s ok to just be present and your time together doesn’t have to be “extraordinary” or exciting. We need to develop compassion before we are able to know if we have crossed a line with the natural world. It’s possible that the biggest reason behind animal suffering, violence, and domination is because we, as humans, fear abandonment. It’s not too late to change the relationship you have with your animals. They are so forgiving!Episode Guest:Emelie Cajsdotter founded Friskeröd in 1995, and has since then been responsible for the farm. She lives on the farm with her family and about 160 animals. Emelie coordinates the work of taking care of all the animals on the farm, with non-profit labor helping her out and hay sponsorship that covers the cost of hay for all the animals. Emelie is a trained homeopath, but is above all a storyteller, with the aim of spreading the message of other species to people through stories. She has traveled all over the world, and studied and worked in many different places, such as Ireland, Jordan and New Zealand. For a number of years, it has been possible to take part in various courses at Friskeröd where other species are responsible for the content. So far, hundreds of people have taken part in what other species have to teach us. The waiting list is long, hundreds more are standing in line.Emelie has written three books, "Zander and the time", "All the king's horses and" "Song of the grass". She has participated in the Swedish television series ”The herd” and has been actively involved in the Mio podcast.Books: All The Kings Horses WEBSITEDONATIONS - https://www.friendsofmio.com/en/bidra Asea Products The Roots Brand Lifewave Patches Ascent Nutrition

Key Moments:[00:00] - Introduction [03:01] - Part 2: Positive lifestyle habits[07:35] - The power of posing[12:14] - Take time out[15:37] - Find inspiration[18:27] - Steer clear of gossip and drama[22:45] - The work of the ego[26:47] - What you consume, consumes you[33:03] - Expressing gratitude[41:21] - Studying your emotions [49:18] - Final thoughts Key Takeaways:Surrounding yourself with people of a high vibration can improve your own vibration. Positive people can also provide empowering perspectives on our problems. “Fake it till you make it” is scientifically proven to work! If you stay people’d-out without a recharge, the more likely it is that you’ll lower other people’s vibrations. It’s ok to need time out, but don’t let your mood dictate your manners.Find inspiration - when you’re inspired, you find drive and feel good about where you’re going and what’s possible in life.Finding out what we don’t want helps us to find what we do want. Remember to check your ego Greatness starts with being grateful! Instead of ruminating, try and focus your energy on solutions to your problems. Work through your emotions step-by-step. There are plenty of healthy, fresh ways to cook a nutritious plant-based meal. This is what we encourage. There are plenty of ways to get enough protein, calcium, and other nutrients that don’t involve eating meat, eggs, or dairy. Research is your friend!Jeffrey has lots of great, simple resources to help your plant-based journey start smoothly. Going plant-based or vegan can improve other aspects of your health and wellbeing and can also make you more aware of what you’re putting into your body. #16 Community is Immunity with Dr. Christiane Northrup, M.D
I absolutely loved this interview with Dr. Christiane Northrup, M.D. We discuss the importance of community, being "on purpose", and creating the future we want. Please let us know in the comments what resonates with you. Key Takeaways:As long as we are aware, and only use it to connect positively, social media can be a force for good. Community is immunity. The first step to awakening is to do the inner work and be as ‘on purpose’ as we can. There is strength in going against the flow and questioning what we are told to be ‘true’.Awareness of mass formation psychosis gives you the power to truly ‘see’. It’s so important to put energy only into what you want, not what you don’t want. It’s absolutely ok for people to wake up at their own pace, and be on their own learning journey. But when you’ve done that, you don’t need to stay there.Episode Guest:Christiane Northrup, M.D., visionary pioneer in women’s health, is a board-certified OB/GYN with more than thirty years of clinical experience, former assistant clinical professor of OB/GYN at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and three-time New York Times bestselling author of Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom, The Wisdom of Menopause and Goddesses Never Age. In 2013, Reader’s Digest named Dr. Northrup one of the “100 Most Trusted People in America.” In 2016, she was named one of Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul 100, a group of leaders who are using their voices and talent to awaken humanity. And in 2020 & 2021, She was included in the Watkins Spiritual 100, a list of living people that make a unique and spiritual contribution on a global scale.Internationally known for her empowering approach, Dr. Northrup embraces medicine that acknowledges the unity of mind, body, emotions, and spirit, and teaches women to create health by tuning into their inner wisdom. After decades spent transforming women’s understanding of their sacred bodies and processes, Dr. Northrup now teaches women to thrive at every stage of life.As a business owner, physician, former surgeon, mother, writer, speaker, and, according to Miriam Ava Ph.D., a “rebel, rock star and authority on what can go right with the female body,” Dr. Northrup acknowledges our individual and collective capacity for growth, freedom, joy, and balance.Dr. Northrup has also hosted eight highly successful public-television specials, and her work has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, the Today Show, NBC Nightly News, The View, Rachael Ray, Good Morning America, 20/20, and The Dr. Oz Show, among many others.Since March 2020, Dr Northrup has worked on the front lines of medical freedom which hercolleague Kevin Jenkins, CEO of Urban Global Health, refers to as the “civil rights movement of the 21 st century.”Don’t miss Dr. Northrup’s cutting-edge information. #15 Are We Being Hypnotised?
Mass Formation Psychosis, Collective Consciousness - How much are we really in control of our thoughts and how does this affect our reality? In this Podcast with Danielle (The Single Truth podcast) & Nirmala from @sacredsciencepodcast, we have a roundtable discussion on these issues - do let us know what you think!Key Takeaways:Awareness is key - once you see it you can’t unsee it! How sacred geometry can help us understand and make better decisions;Hypnosis is not just an individual experience with things like hypnotherapy etc, it can happen on a collective level. Either on a large scale within countries, societies or on a smaller scale within families.Mass Formations Psychosis / Collective consciousness are real! When we’re aware of hypnosis, we are much better equipped to deal with it and step away from it. We are all on our own individual journeys, but all of our purposes are the same: to evolve and to take our journey to the next step. Hypnosis starts in childhood, and from 0-7 years old, we are in a brainwave state that makes us more susceptible to it - but most people do not realise as adults we are being constantly hypnotised by repetition in all media platforms & education; Social media helps to hypnotise us because their algorithms show us information that we already agree with. This limits our opportunities to see different viewpoints from our own.Inner work is important to this journey of awareness, moving away from responding reactively, and creating boundaries.Understanding how we can take back control of our minds at an individual level is key. #14 How to Have Perfect Relationships

#14 How to Have Perfect Relationships
Danielle, from The Single Truth podcast, and I, are back with the wonderfully insightful Yogi Amrit Desai (affectionately known as Gurudev) for a discussion on how to have perfect relationships. We delve deep into what is needed to achieve this with help from Gurudev's book 'The Yoga of Relationships' and also go through some real-life examples that you can apply to your own life.Gurudev also takes us through a brilliant meditation which is certainly worth doing at the end! I really enjoyed this conversation and I hope you do too.Key Takeaways:Once you have the power to accept yourself as you are, you have the power to accept others as they are.Often in relationships, people look for others to provide what they are lacking in themselves. You will not find it because the problem is hidden inside you! Most people interact with the present through the eyes of their past. It's important to let go of the past and your 'toxic memory stress centre' in order to live in the present moment and be truly happy. We can get so caught up in finding the right partner that we forget to be the right partner. You don't have to be perfect in self-acceptance all the time! As long as you have the intention, practice is key.No one can control the thinking of others! So sit back, enjoy with an open mind - Stay Curious, and Stay Free and, very importantly, please do let us know what you think in the comments or the reviews. Thank you. Episode Guest:Gurudev Shri Amritji is one of a handful of Gurus who came to America in the early 1960's, pioneering a Yoga craze that has grown into the massive worldwide yoga practices we know today. He is the last living Guru from this initial wave.Over the past 57 years, Amritji has founded some of the largest not-for-profit yoga centers in North America. The seeds of yoga he has planted have since grown into the Yoga Society of Pennsylvania, (founded in 1966), which became the largest of its kind by 1970. From the time he first began training yoga teachers in the early 1960s, today there are a total of more than 10,000 certified Yoga and Yoga Nidra teachers in more than 40 countries around the world.Amritji founded two not-for-profit Kripalu Yoga Ashrams and program centers, one in Sumneytown, PA, in 1971 (with a resident staff of 50) that quickly expanded into a second center at Summit Station, PA, in 1976.  This new center grew to a resident staff size of 150. By 1983,  the Kripalu Yoga Centre (founded in Massachusetts) proved to be the largest  Yoga and Health Centre in North America. A thriving international Yoga Center with 350 full-time resident and volunteer staff, this center accommodated more than 300 guests.Under Amritji’s guidance, those disciples committed to the lineage and its teachings and became his acharyas - qualified to lead his programmes and yoga teacher training, not only at Kripalu but internationally. In 2001, Amritji founded the Amrit Yoga Institute (AYI) in Salt Springs, Florida which has become a thriving international yoga and ayurveda center, where he presently resides and teaches. You can learn more about GuruDev at:Website Amrit Yoga institute Facebook Youtube Instagram Episode Guest:Danielle Matthews:...

#11 The Great Awakening and Us with Michelle Klann
Today, I am delighted to introduce you to my friend Michelle Klann. In this podcast, The Great Awakening in Us, Michelle and I discuss how we find our purpose, the inner work that we are both doing, and how we can all create our new reality. We share an in-depth conversation about how we all fit into the Great Awakening and the amazing journey this can take us on. Michelle Marie Klann is an entrepreneur, visionary, artist, and mother of two beautiful children, ages 12 and 14.At 23 Michelle founded her first web development company called Liquamedia, working with many high-profile companies. In 2009 she co-founded a Software as a Service company called Email on Acid. With only $5,000 in the bank and no external funding, they later sold the business for just over $65 million! As a 2 handicap by the age of 17, Michelle has always been passionate about the game of golf. For that reason, she founded Golf Nations in 2013, which provides operational technology solutions to Golf Associations including Arizona, Texas, Southern California, Massachusetts, New York, Kansas, and Michigan Golf Associations to name a few.In 2021, Michelle co-founded a project called Bonds for the Win. This was a worldwide operation to FOIA the Oaths of Office, Bonds, and Liability Policies for every “elected” official throughout the US and abroad. The success of the project was overwhelming as it was able to liberate over 50 million children throughout the US from having to wear masks at school. In 2020, Michelle started a podcast series called Our Great Awakening to showcase how the White Hats and the king planet, Jupiter, have dominated in the heavens since 2012. This is the end-time prophecy and God wins.In the future, Michelle’s mandate is to deliver living water, clean food, and a comfortable shelter to every nation, tribe, and people.I hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did!Key Takeaways:If people want to hear the message, they will hear it. As soon as we start forcing it, then that's when everything starts going energetically very astray. There will be people that are going to reject certain messages, that's part of advancing.Incorporating ancient wisdom into our modern lives has many benefits. How to tune in to listen to the answers that are inside of us (our intuition)."When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change." (- Wayne Dyer). How finding what we are passionate about and sharing it, is our greatest gift to all. When the going gets tough, what tools can you implement? How we can rewrite our subconscious programmes that are no longer serving us. Create opportunities by saying ‘no’ to what is no longer serving you.So sit back, enjoy with an open mind - Stay Curious, and Stay Free and, very importantly, please do let us know what you think in the comments or the reviews. #10 Optimising Health and Happiness - Episode 6: Creating the Life you Love
I am delighted today to introduce you to the 6th in our series on Optimising Health and Happiness For Humans and Your Animals, with my special guests, Dr. Timo Tastutar and Lance Schuttler. In the first episode (#4) we discussed What is Health, and how can we optimise it?, and in the second episode (#5) we discussed What is Happiness? In the third episode, we discussed the important subject of How do our Choices Affect our Health & Happiness? and in episode 4 (#6), we discussed The Placebo and Nocebo effects & Mind over Matter. Episode 5 (#7) we looked at Epigenetics & Nutriepigenetics.Today, we are rounding this series up by looking at how to create the life we love. There are so many ways to do this. Hopefully, this discussion will really add to our understanding & empower us to make great choices, realise how much control we have over our health & happiness, and how to have fun in the process! I love the different perspectives that both Lance and Timo bring to this discussion. Key Takeaways:Fortune favours the brave! Don’t be afraid to make brave decisions. Objective self-assessment is key. Happiness is an inside job. Find what you love and do more of it! Be authentic to yourself, and align your actions with your core beliefsExperiences trump possessions! Challenging ourselves is important - if it's too easy, it rarely gives a real sense of achievement.Variety and play are important at all stages of our lives. Both too few or too many choices can increase stress.saying YES to yourselves normally also helps others.Social contribution is important.Life is a journey - enjoy it! So sit back, enjoy with an open mind - Stay Curious, and Stay Free and, very importantly, please do let us know what you think in the comments or the reviews.
