Hello and welcome to "Stormy Weather," a podcast of generative music and natural soundscapes with no other words than those of this brief introduction.
Our eighth episode is titled Pugnax Overwintering and is about 40 minutes long.
All sounds in the episode are generated through a script capable of harmonizing data from the Euro Bird Portal. In particular, this soundscape was obtained by analyzing the density and routes of the migratory flocks of Calidris Pugnax, a bird also known by the name "Ruff".
Background listening is recommended, at a barely audible volume.
