What happens when a righteous man is not established in righteousness?

Lot lingered when angels instructed him to leave Sodom and Gomoroah urgently before the city was destroyed.
Many are still lingering today, not because the next step is not clear, but because of the force, the grip, the chokehold of Sodom on their soul is quite intense.
Some have taken too much time to resolve and deal with issues that God wanted them to deal with a long time ago. Some have lingered in the relationship they should have gotten out of, some have delayed in obeying and doing the will of God.
Some of us have lingered in dealing with deep issues of our heart that God wanted us to deal with years before. Only if we had responded to those urgent spiritual matters perhaps we would have moved significantly into the deep things of God.
Perhaps this podcast is a reminder of the call of God demanding the permanent resolution of things you have retained that must be go for His glory to be revealed.
