Rebinging Star Trek DS9: The Maquis, Part 2
Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Season 2 episode 21: The Maquis, Part 2. Last week's special guest star, Attiba Royster, joins us again to discuss the second part of this two-parter. Attiba is an artist and big Deep Space Nine fan and he's here to over-analyze Sisko, Cal, Herman Munster and Ugly Betty's Dad. In this episode, we see a reflection of the Sisko/Cal friendship as Sisko tries to keep the friendship together while Cal pulls farther and farther away.
The Maquis
Odo has found a connection between Quark and Sakonna (remember her from last week?) which helps the team surmise the next move of the Maquis. But first, they must rescue Gul Dukat, which is awfully easy. During the rescue attempt Dukat punches Sakonna in the face AGAIN (she must really dislike that guy). Next they aim to foil the Maquis attack plan on a nearby Cardassian colony. All the while this is going on, Sisko tries to get Cal back into his Starfleet uniform. Well...getting Cal into his Starfleet uniform works about as well as getting Sisko out of his Starfleet uniform in Paradise. In other words, not so much.
